Thunder Bay Family Network is currently seeking two highly motivated and energetic individuals to support our weekly ICAN group!  

Reporting to the Family Engagment Facilitator and Board of Directors, the ICAN Facilitators will be responsible for organizaing and supporting activities and outings for network members.  This takes place weekly on Wednesday evenings and includes individuals with various skills and interests.  Engagement of all members is a key part of the position!  Responsibilities include the following:

• Organize and facilitate ICAN! outings and activities
• Maintain confidentiality
• Maintain written documentation on activities, meetings, and correspondence as necessary
• Complete monthly stats
• Collect and track fees
• Encourage community connections through activities
• Assist in building awareness of the benefits of networking

Up to four hours per week per facilitator at a wage of $25 per hour, with some additional hours required at times.  

Must demonstrate flexiblity and adapatability as well as good communication and organizational skills.  Being patient, emphathetic, and understanding is a must!  Previous experiencing working with individuals with a developmental disability is considered an asset.
