TBFN is currently seeking a temporary part time Administrative Assistant! This position will be for three months, with the possibility of extension.
- 10-15 hours per week
- Flexible hours and work from home
- $30 per hour with 4% vacation pay added
- Cell phone and laptop are supplied
Roles include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Setting up our physical office space and organizing files and materials
- Monitoring phone/voice mails
- Monitoring of multiple email accounts
- Triaging voice mails, messages, and emails and prioritizing responses
- Collect info and manage what is sent to our distribution list
- Updating membership lists and statistical information
- Monitoring and maintainance of staff Google Drives
- Updating social media and monitoring messages
- Newsletter publication
- Updates to our website as needed
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Candidates should possess skills in the following areas:
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs, Google email and drives, Canva, social media, and other related functions
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing needs
- Strong team player
- Experience working with volunteers or volunteer based organizations and/or groups
- Be available as needed during non traditional working hours
- Experience working in the not for profit and/or disabilty sectors considered an asset
