This article is to notify you of significant changes to Thunder Bay Family Network.
As a result of the consultants report we received, which has been can be found below, the Board of Directors has decided to embark on a restructuring of the Network in order to better serve families. We have eliminated the Community Development Coordinator position and revamped the iCAN Coordinator positions to iCAN Facilitators.
At this time we do not have a staff in place to coordinate the Network's activities and the Board is doing their best to keep up with emails and calls, however there may be delays in our replies. The process of restructuring will not happen quickly, however we are confident that we can emerge stronger and more engaged in our community and, most importantly, with families.
I want to thank all those that took the time to speak to our consultant and provide such valuable information and feedback. The Board has been digesting this info over the summer and is excited to begin working on the restructuring plan over the fall! A huge thanks to Susannah Joyce for providing us with such a thorough and useful report to assist on this journey forward!
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to Board President, Sharon Bak, at sharon@tbfn.ca.
